Soft Cotton Crochet Lace T-Shirt Top

A lovely Little Brown Dog Vintage one-off! 🤍

This easy-to-wear T-shirt shape top has a simple boat neckline and grown-on sleeves, made from a beautifully soft vintage cotton tablecloth.

The tablecloth has gorgeous crochet lace inserts, with the original crochet edging carefully used to finish the sleeve and bottom hems, and making a feature of the centre back seam.  I love keeping these little details from the original textile — they give the top so much character and make it truly one of a kind.

A really versatile piece for your wardrobe, perfect with jeans, trousers or skirts and easy to dress up or down. One of those pieces you can bring out year after year and it will never date.

As with all my upcycled pieces, this top has been made from a preloved vintage textile, so there may be little signs of its previous life, including marks, fading, small blemishes, stitching irregularities or other imperfections. These are all part of the charm and character of using vintage fabrics and are not considered faults.
