Hand Pieced Quilted Upcycled Gilet in Shades of Blue

A proper Little Brown Dog Vintage one-off! 💙

This lovely sleeveless gilet has been made from an upcycled hand-pieced vintage quilt in gorgeous shades of blue, giving it loads of character and a beautifully patchworked feel.

It’s fully lined with vintage fabric and finished with the prettiest pistachio green velvet, adding a little pop of colour around the edges. Fastened with poppers and finished with two handy front pockets, it’s a really versatile piece that can be thrown over shirts, blouses, dresses or chunky knits.

Perfect for adding an extra layer as the autumn and winter seasons arrive — and because it’s made from a vintage quilt, there really is nothing else quite like it.

Measures 21" pit to pit, 22" back neck to hem.

As with all my upcycled pieces, this gilet has been made from preloved vintage textiles. There may be little signs of its previous life such as marks, fading, stitching irregularities or other minor imperfections. I think these are all part of the charm and character of using vintage fabrics, rather than something to hide.

A unique piece with a past, given a whole new life. 💙
