Rain, Resilience & Rural Style at Bramham International Horse Trials
What a privilege it is to be exhibiting in the Country Living Pavilion at Bramham International Horse Trials this year.
Thursday certainly tested everyone’s determination, with relentless rain from morning until evening. The showground took a soaking, waterproofs became the uniform of the day, and there were moments when a hot cup of tea felt like the greatest luxury on earth!
Despite the weather, there was still a wonderful atmosphere around the event. One of the things I love most about shows like Bramham is the sense of community. Visitors, traders, competitors and organisers all pull together, sharing smiles, stories and a healthy appreciation for anyone brave enough to venture out in the rain.
The Country Living Pavilion is looking fabulous, packed with talented independent makers, artisans and small businesses offering everything from homewares and gifts to fashion and lifestyle finds. It’s a real celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and shopping small.
For Little Brown Dog Vintage, it’s always a joy to meet customers in person, chat about the stories behind the garments and see people discover one-of-a-kind pieces made from beautiful vintage textiles. Every item on the rail has had a previous life and been lovingly transformed into something new, ready for its next adventure.
The forecast is looking much more promising for the next three days, and we’re keeping everything crossed for sunshine, dry ground and plenty of visitors.
